At The Mintakan Method, our mission is to help individuals to get started easily on their journey to improving their lives. We endeavour to do this through re-wiring behaviours as they relate to food, exercise, meditation and introspection. Whilst we believe that you will experience less stress and anxiety through utilising the Mintakan Method, we also believe that it will help you to better listen to your inner intuition, resulting in a happier and more joyful you.
I had a simple and some would say average childhood. My family life was with filled with loving parents, a religious upbringing, and a safe environment.
There were certainly moments of spirituality in my childhood but for the most part, with time it was repressed.
My focus was on intellectual achievement and career progression, working in the technology sector. This, along with raising two children was my predominant focus on a day to day basis and did lead to a burn out early in my life.
Near this burn out I ended up pivoting my career to be more business coaching oriented, which enabled me to be little more closer to my authentic self. I stayed in this state for decades - feeding my intellect, ignoring my body, ignoring my soul.
I felt reality and life was broken and I shied away living life, and disconnected myself, enjoying my spare time by reclusively entering virtual worlds.
I was successful in my career. I had two beautiful children. I had an extremely supportive partner. But I lived as a shell of a human being as I completely lost my religion and became obese. In reflection, I hated myself and I hated the reality I was in, only the interactions I had with people close to me gave me joy.
Across multiple decades I had several severe medical issues that resulted in many operations and parts of me being removed.
It is hard to pinpoint exactly when my awakening occurred. This is an important revelation in itself as not everyone will have a major "awakening event".
I recall feeling depressed in 2021 under Covid lockdowns and for a few days felt like I was in a strange trance or haze. This was already half a year into my journey of trying to lose weight and get healthy. Despite this, I ended up being diagnosed with a severe bowel issue which meant that I was put on an incredibly restrictive diet to try to heal.
When on holidays in Perth I ended up having my third "collective conscious" event where I felt completely connected with the planet and nature.
A year into my diet and I had another flare up and ended up in hospital again for a removal of part of my bowel. It was in hospital that I connected to my guides for the first time. In a drug induced haze they answered many of my questions and I came out of hospital wanting to know more about my spirituality.
I then spent the next six months intensely studying and learning, meditating, doing yoga to further my journey. It was in this stage of my journey that I struggled with the sheer amount of information, often conflicting information, on what it takes to reach enlightenment. I thought there had to be a better way of synthesising that information, but importantly, of enabling the journey maker a pathway of progression and of intuitive adaptation. This led me to create the Mintakan Method to help and guide others.
I am not a guru. I am not enlightened. I am a person that is still on their own journey, but I have dramatically changed. I have lost over 30kgs, I live each day in such joyous love, bliss, compassion and peace. I now no longer feel reality is broken and shape and own my reality. It gives me joy to share what I have learnt through the Mintakan Method in the hope that it can make a positive impact on your life, helping you too to find love, joy, health, compassion and peace.
